Rob Curry, Associate Director of 3D Design for School of Fashion at Academy of Art University presents 3D draping techniques. Experimenting with ideas of reducing known garment shapes to their most basic forms, and shifting body positions away from their natural placements, in order to observe how the fabric reacts against these new placements, creating twisted, draped shapes on the body.
